It’s about time I shared one of the best articles (one of my favorites) I have come across yet – one that provides a unique perspective to AI and gets you a step closer to understanding Alan Turing. This is an article written by Edward A. Feigenbaum (co-recipient of the Turing Award ’94 along with Raj Reddy).
The *What* to *How* spectrum on page 100 is a must see.
Stumbled upon this great documentary on four famous mathematicians – Georg Cantor, Ludwig Boltzmann, Kurt Gödel and Alan Turing. This documentary talks about their extraordinary intellectual powers and how it drove them insane, eventually leading them to committing suicide.
Fun fact: Turing was conceived in Chhatrapur, Orissa, India. His father, Julius Mathison Turing, was a member of the Indian Civil Service. (via Wikipedia)
